Air Compressor in Natural Gas Vehicle（NGV）

1. Characteristics of compressed natural gas in NGV

(1) Natural gas is a gaseous fuel with high octane , generally up to 120 or more, strong explosion resistance, smooth engine operation, and low noise.

(2) The dilution effect on the lubricating oil of the vehicle motor is low, the combustion performance is good, the cylinder carbon deposit is small, and the lubricating oil and spark plug do not need to be replaced frequently, which can extend the engine service life circle.

(3) Good starting in winter.

(4) The acceleration performance of the vehicle is slightly worse than that of the gasoline vehicle.

(5) The driving radius of the NGV is small unless the maturer compress technology applied on the NGV, and the driving mileage of a refueling vehicle is lower than that of the gasoline vehicle. However, when the gasoline and gas were filled both, the driving radius can be extended longer. 

Gasoline vehicles can be installed with a vehicle gas device under the condition that the original fuel supply system remains unchanged, realizing the two functions of gas and fuel, so that the adaptability of automobile fuel is greatly enhanced, and the oil and gas conversion only needs a cutting switch, which can be quickly converted at any time, and the operation is very simple.


2. The environmental benefits of compressed natural gas vehicles

At present, the exhaust gas emitted by automobiles has become a major source of pollution in various cities in China, and natural gas is currently widely recognized as the best use of fuel, compressed natural gas in the combustion process, pollution is extremely small, the exhaust gas released does not contain lead, basically does not contain sulfide, compared with gasoline vehicles, carbon monoxide reduced by 97%, hydrocarbons reduced by 72%, nitrogen oxides reduced by 39%, so environmental protection benefits are very significant.
The total natural gas NGV is much more environment friendly than traditional fuel gasoline SUV. The advanced NGV compress technology is under developing to fill the needs that people and environment demand.
